Thursfields Supports Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s Free Will Writing Service

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has bolstered its successful Free Will Writing Service Scheme as Thursfields Solicitors in Solihull has joined the organisation’s network of preferred solicitors.

The charity responds to on average 2,000 incidents each year, with four in every ten missions funded through a gift in a Will, which is why the scheme has proven such a vitally important fundraising campaign.

Thursfields is now one of ten firms of leading solicitors across the six counties covered by the lifesaving charity, including the West Midlands.

Jason Levy, Fundraising and Marketing Director for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, explains: “Donations through a Gift in a Will play an ever increasing part in how we fund our lifesaving operation. The scheme has been operating for three years now, and in that time over 540 people, aged 55 and over, have prepared their Will free of charge through us. Due to this success, we were keen to expand the scheme further with one of the region’s leading solicitors firms, and Thursfields was a perfect fit. Those that use the Free Will Writing Service and do decide to leave a gift, no matter how large or small, can take great comfort in knowing their legacy will be saving lives for many years to come.”
