Frequently Asked Questions
A will is a document that makes clear the division of your estate in the event of your death. Your estate encompasses everything you own, including; properties, savings, pensions, investments, jewellery, etc. Any debts will need to be offset against possessions before the remaining assets can be divided among friends and family. The writing of a Will is the only way to ensure that your possessions are divided in accordance with your wishes after death.
You’re not legally required to write a will, but it is the best way to ensure that your estate is shared in line with your wishes. If you don’t, the division of your estate will be determined by Intestacy Rules, which could deprive close friends and family of any inheritance.
Essentially, wealth management broadly covers several areas of financial planning. Services within wealth management include; estate planning, financial and tax planning, succession planning, charitable donations, and more.
Wealth management helps individuals to manage and maximise the value of their assets and brings peace of mind. If you have a holistic wealth management plan, the financial wellbeing of your loved ones will be protected in the event of death or incapacity.
