Christmas fundraising at Thursfields
Thursfields’ Junior Lawyer Committee (TJLC) have been spreading Christmas joy this December, with our annual Christmas charity drive.
On Friday 16 December, we donned our Christmas jumpers in aid of Save the Children. Employees in all of our offices across Worcestershire and the Black Country joined in, raising a total of £180 for the children’s charity.
The festive fun continued on Monday 19 December when we held our prestigious Christmas themed “The Great Thursfields Bake Off”. Employees put on their aprons and baked some wonderful creations which were judged by a director in each office. Our very own Paul Hollywood, Managing Director, Nick O’Hara, then crowned the infamous star baker, Sandra Sharp, of the Kidderminster office with her winning Peace cake. The cakes were then sold, raising a total of £129 for the Prince’s Trust Hereford and Worcester branch.
Finally, TJLC also held a charitable drive for the homeless, by inviting employees to bring unwanted clothes, foods and toiletries which were then taken to our chosen local homeless charities: The Wyre Forest Night Stop, The Maggs Day Centre, Shelter and Simply Limitless.
