Free employment law training offered by Thursfields
Thursfields Solicitors is offering a free one-hour training session on employment law to all Birmingham and Solihull businesses with more than 50 staff.
The training will be provided by Jade Linton, an associate solicitor in Thursfields’ Employment department, who has been recommended by the Legal 500 and is regularly invited to speak at employment law events across the UK.
The expert in-house programme from the Midlands leading law firm will include crucial legal guidance on:
- Equality and diversity
- Performance management
- Disciplinary and grievance processes
- How to resolve conflict in the workplace, and
- Managing sickness absence.
The Legal 500 has highlighted Jade as a “superstar and a joy to work with” and as a solicitor who possesses a “unique quality amongst those in her possession to make law unintimidating and understandable to all”.
Jade, who has been the plenary speaker at The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals Annual General Conference and Exhibition for the past three years, said: “Being an employer in 2019 is getting ever more complex.

To qualify for the one-hour of free employment law training, businesses must be based within a ten-mile radius of Thursfields’ central Birmingham or Solihull offices. The training is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and Thursfields reserves the right to decline requests once full capacity is reached.
