Thursfields advises on launch of new Emporio Artari in Solihull

The commercial property team at Thursfields Solicitors has helped launch a new designer café in Solihull’s Touchwood Shopping Centre.

The team, led by commercial property director Robert Pettigrew, advised on the new lease of a bespoke central café premises in Touchwood which has now opened at Emporio Artari Café.

The new venture is the brainchild of restaurant entrepreneur Carmine Sacco and the team behind the Lucarelli Restaurants in the Mailbox in Birmingham and West Bromwich.

The Launch of the New Café

The new Italian bar and café, Emporio Artari, offers a specialised menu selling authentic Italian brands.

As well as Italian coffee, Emporio Artari serves Lucarelli-style cicchetti food including sharing platters, arancini, oven-baked lasagne and panini, plus an indulgent Italian-style afternoon tea.

Robert Pettigrew said: “Emporio Artari is a deliciously indulgent treat, and diners can treat themselves to a glass of prosecco or choose from a selection of special cocktails.

“It’s one of those projects that we felt needed to be hands-on, and required a site visit!”

Carmine Sacco said: ““It was a pleasure, as always, to work with Robert and the team at Thursfields, they understand our business requirements and provide an outstanding service”.

Award-winning Italian celebrity chef Aldo Zilli has helped design some of the menu, including new signature dishes for upcoming seasonal menus, and the venue is already proving popular and building a major following of regulars and followers on social media.

Robert added: “It is great to help bring such an exciting concept to life and we look forward to advising as the brand expands into new areas.”

CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP acted for the landlord and Cushman & Wakefield were the letting agents.
